We are an independent bakery on Station Road in Kirkham, a few minutes’ walk from Kirkham & Wesham station, which is a short train ride from Preston. Order a bespoke cake online, collect it on a day that suits, and have a coffee while you are here.

Preston has no shortage of places to buy a cake. What we offer is a bakery run by two people, Emma and Taylor, where every celebration cake is designed for one order and piped by hand in buttercream. No catalogue numbers, no fondant, and a reply from the person who will actually make it.
It all happens online. Pick a date on our calendar, share your idea and any photos, and we email a free quote within two working days. Nothing is booked or paid until you are happy with it.

Cupcakes come in boxes of 6 or 12, one flavour per box, so it is easy to order a mix for a team. For a bigger send off, a 6 inch tall cake serves 12 to 24 and an 8 inch tall cake 30 to 40.

Trains from Preston towards Blackpool stop at Kirkham & Wesham. From the station, we are a short walk along Station Road.

Kirkham is a short drive west of Preston. There are town centre car parks a few minutes from the bakery. Our address for the sat nav is 10b Station Road, Kirkham, PR4 2AS.
When to come
Wednesday to Friday 9am to 3:30pm, Saturday 9:30am to 2:30pm. Cake collections are at the time agreed in your booking.

Do you deliver cakes to Preston?
Collection from our Kirkham bakery is the main option. You can request delivery on the enquiry form, and we confirm whether we can deliver and the cost in your quote.
How much notice do you need?
Two weeks is ideal, and a month or more for weddings and tiered cakes. For something sooner, request the date anyway and we will see if we can fit it in.
How do I pay?
Once you accept your quote, a 50% deposit confirms the date and the balance is due seven days before collection. Bookings made less than 14 days ahead are paid in full.
Can I order sourdough from Preston?
Yes, pre-order online by midnight on Tuesday and collect from 10am on Friday or Saturday. See the loaves.
